Come join us for a fun filled, exciting workshop learning practical applications of resistance band training techniques. This is a simple training tool that you can use at home, on the road, in the gym, on the beach, on your walks, on the job, or anywhere else you may want to sneak in a quick workout.
If you’ve never used bands before or if you want to take your band experience to the next level this workshop is for you.
The Resistance Band Workshop is for fitness professionals, coaches, or anyone who loves to train and challenge the body with a non-traditional, simple, cheap, but effective tool. Not only will training with bands be covered but so will mobility, stability and flexibility. The entire band gambit will be provided.

ATTENTION-
This is not a sit and listen workshop. You will be participating. In order to get better with bands you must ‘FEEL’ exactly what the band is doing to you. You got to learn ‘hands on’ to be the best.

What’s going to be covered in this workshop:
As we begin a new class using the resistance bands we wanted to introduce you to the concept and familiarize you with proper training techniques. This is one of the most effective tools in a “functional training” regimen. They are basically giant elastic rubber bands that come in varying levels of resistance.
The biggest difference between resistance bands and free weights like dumbbells is the resistance curve. A dumbbell will feel heaviest at the beginning of the lift and easiest at the end range (think of a dumbbell curl). A resistance band on the other hand will get more difficult at the end of the range and be easiest at the beginning.
Using Resistance Band for more than just a training tool
Resistance bands and their immediate impact on human movement remains a secret to most daily fitness enthusiasts, athletes and coaches.
